Why do I have to sign in to use Capture One 22

Permanently deleted user

The last 2 or 3 times I have opened Capture One on my PC, I have had to sign into the web site to use it, or delay 30 days.  I purchased a license, I do not have a subscription.  This has never happened before when using this product.  Why now??
