prefix character error while setting up barcode scanner

The message is 

"The prefix contains invalid characters. Please reconfigure the scanner to follow the requirements found in the Barcode tool's documentation and try again"

 

I tried the process mentioned on this link, and the reading is exact '0123456789' as is. there are no prefix/suffix.

I am using macstudio, macOS 12.4 Monterey, and socket mobile CHS 7ci barcode scanner.
CHS 7Ci user's guide (pdf) & programming guide (pdf)
I don't see any prefix/suffix programming functions on the manuals.

  The barcode scanner needs to be capable of adding a prefix and suffix to the barcode scan for Enterprise to be able to recognise the scan. A quick look at the programming docs for your scanner suggests that you contact support@socketmobile.com for custom set up of a prefix and suffix. The general consensus is to make F12 the pref-suff
