Capture One Catalogs Overviewer - a "Finder window" just for CO Catalogs

I want to go further than Jonas. Whenever there is a need to search across Capture One assets - whether it be Sessions of Catalogues - the solution is always to import them into a "master catalogue". This is NOT a useful solution. It just creates more detritus on my storage. I don't want new thumbnails, new structures. I just want something simple:

I'm going to call it a Capture One Workspace. It is created by pointing Capture One at the top level of some existing set of directories and say "Create Workspace". Those directories could contain Sessions, Catalogues - either managed or referenced.

All that Capture One would do in that new Workspace is to create a lightweight index of meta-data, keywords, star ratings, colour tags. This lightweight searchable index would utilise the _existing_ thumbnails from sessions/catalogues. Its only purpose would be to allow complex searching, including boolean, and to load the _existing_ thumbnails and open the _existing_ Capture One Session or Catalogue if requested.

The only extra overhead would be Capture One's automated maintenance and storage of the lightweight index which must be stored _within_ the workspace for portability. The end-user could go on taking photographs instead of importing to new structures and buying new storage.

    Simple, lightweight, effective.
