I don't think this is possible, if you're referring to the date of the file. It's an OS issue with regard to the creation of a file, any file type, not the image. What I do, is use filenames in the following format:

    YYYMMDD-HHMMSS-file-name

Where the YYYMMDD and HHMMSS is based on the date the image was captured.

Hi Kevin, thanks for your comment and hint. Indeed, am already using the YYMMDD_MotiveOfPic.jpg (example) filenaming (dropping its time as the name then just becomes too long). However, it is lovely to keep the time also in developed pictures especcially when sending the files to other persons.

And: yes it is possible inside a program as the programs irfanview and (i guess, not sure whilst writing) exifer allow these settings generally or as a procedure. But as i wrote: It is possible, using these programs but it is an extra step and takes some time if handling a large amount of photos.

It's possible, but it's all or nothing.

All meaning: it will write all camera metadata in the EXIF metadata such as camera, lens, exposure settings, date taken, etc.

For that you must tick "Camera Metadata" in the Export options.

After export you would need to use an other app to strip off the unwanted metadata. I wish it would be possible in CO to select individually which metadata to be written during export.

    I hope this helps.
