Tethering slowed down dramatically on IMac

Tethering from my Nikon Z9 to my iMac (Late 2017 27", i5, 24GB RAM) started to become a pain. I don't know when and why it started happening but the images load 10 times slower than it used to before. I have the latest Mac OS (12.6) and the latest C1 (15.4).

I tried everything: deleted the kernel files, rebuilt the kernel files, cancelled hardware acceleration, installed older versions of C1, even installed an older OS (12.4) after a clean swipe but nothing seems to work.

The same setup on my i9 Macbook Pro and M1 Pro Macbook work just fine.

Do you have any idea what could cause the problem?
