pre upgrade to Capture One 23 broke my Capture one 22.2 link on OS Mojave

Please how can I restore my Capture One 22.2 version which runs fine on OS Mojave and I would like to keep it that way?

It says I need to de-activate? Why can I not continue to use C1 22.2 as before?

I bought the C1 23 upgrade to use next year, not now?\

How to I get my C1 22.2 back?

    Did you read the confirmation email from Capture One?

    "By pre-upgrading to Capture One Pro 23, your current license key is now expired. Open Capture One on your computer and enter the new license key provided here to continue having access to your current version of Capture One. When Capture One Pro 23 is released, download the new version and enter the same license key to get the upgrade. Don’t worry – we’ll reach out with a reminder about this information."

    It's easy: deactivate old licenses, restart Capture One, enter new license number. That's all!

    If you bought the pre-upgrade you got a new license key. The old license key is invalid, so you need to deactivate it and reactivate with the new key. The Capture One version stays the same.

    By pre-upgrading to Capture One Pro 23, your current license key is now expired. Open Capture One on your computer and enter the new license key provided here to continue having access to your current version of Capture One. When Capture One Pro 23 is released, download the new version and enter the same license key to get the upgrade. Don’t worry – we’ll reach out with a reminder about this information.
