Let me start the yearly upgrade rant

Fellow photographers, here it goes again: « perpetual » (haha) license users have received their pre-upgrade email and some are sharing the same license snafu we have seen again and again.

Are we really going to buy into this again?

Do you really want to index your entire body of work to a perishable piece of software and a company that doesn’t listen and just wants to tie you in?

I’m not. I’m done.
Last year, I didn’t want to upgrade and this year, I can’t.

    Dude - but now there is Capture One iPad - you should check it out. Straight from the camera to Instagram or whatever online. I didn’t think it would be super useful, but being able to upload immediately from the camera like you are shooting with an iPhone is killer!
