Edit all selected Variants: White Balance: Yes; rating: no
When selected: "Edit all selected variants" at present the behaviour is like this:
White Balance does NOT work.
The rating does apply to all - and there is no possibility to change this behaviour.
So please: Let us select, which adjustments and ratings etc. will be applied automatically and which wont. And make the menu for this choice very obvious e.g. easy to get to this menu.
That would be helpful and maybe a reason for an update (although i think it is a bug). At present i do not see any update features that are necessary for me.

It isn't a bug - it's the way it's designed, for better or for worse.
There are only a few things that apply immediately, as you have discovered - things like ratings, colour tags and a few others. Nothing that requires huge amounts of processing power if you were to have a whole lot of images selected and would like to see an adjustment immediately applied to them all.
There are two things you can do -
- Adjust one image and copy the adjustments to the other selected ones - either just the tool you have used - for instance white balance, or all of them, or selected ones if you use the adjustments clipboard.
- Use speed edit - that way if you for instance increase the exposure by 0.2 EV on one image, they are all increased by the same amount.

Hi Ian, thanks for your answer. If it is a wanted process, i would love to have the unselect-option for ratings and colour tags, as this is really annoying if applied by accident.
And as a reminder (as i am missing a translation-overview): "adjustment clipboard" heisst "gespeicherte Anpassungen" in der deutschen Version von Capture ONE ("adjustment clipboard" translates "gespeicherte Anpassungen" in the German Version of Capture One.
"Speed Edit" is an interesting feature i have forgotten and will try it.
