Why trouble opening C1 2022 after buying pre-2023 version

This is frustrating !! Every time I open C1 it asked me to deactivate etc.

 

WHY???

    RTFM (Read the f.....g mail) :-) :

    "You’ll receive a new license key when you pre-upgrade, which you’ll need to use now to continue using your current version of 22. But you’ll also need to enter the same license key again to access version 23 once it’s out."

    You need to deactivate the old license and enter the new key which you should have received.
