exporting error

Changed setting to reduce MB's for exporting pictures. Now CO wont''t export nomore. It say's that ...selected picture is offline and can't be processed etc.   Whatever recepy i choose and or activate, i can't export!!! Also I've been trying to set processed recepy but nothing works Do I have to work online and if so how do I get there??? Thanks for helping me out.
