Please add Intersect mask for capture one. Very useful for easier controlled additive masking, especially in wildlife photography.

In summary the intersect mask will only output the masks that intersect together and that will be a game changer for capture one. 

I have observed how very useful an intersect mask can be in editing wildlife subjects like birds. There are often times where you want to isolate a mask for a subject and after isolating you want to further edit how the mask will look like.

In order for easier control of further erasing and adding more parts of the mask, an intersect mask would help control and limit where you can add or subtract masks. Ex: The first layer would be a mask shaped in the silhouette of a bird and the second layer is a gradient mask that will be intersected to the first layer(which is the mask shaped in the silhouette of a bird). The final output of the mask would be a gradient mask with a shape of a bird silhouette.

Doing this manually is almost impossible without introducing some bad mask artifacts and lines.

    Its good to know that there are a lot of people that are interested in this feature. I could have upvoted them but I am not sure it would be that easy to find those specific posts.

    I'm not familiar with LR. Is this the same a clipping mask in PS?

    @Gerald Senesac Yes. I believe they have similarities.
