HDR Export
I need to send a set of HDR images to my retoucher. My initial thought was to pack them as .eip files, but C1 doesn't seem to support it (rolls eyes). The files are color and tonal corrections sensitive so I can't send unprocessed DNGs. The session is full of 100MP images and far too big to send as a whole. I tried to copy and paste the files into a new session with just the images that need to be worked on. For one HDR image alone I included the .comask, .cos, .xmp, .icm, .cof, .cop, .cot and the .dng file. The image shows up in the new session as an unedited DNG missing all adjustments and custom icc profile.
Can anyone shed some light on what I'm doing wrong or point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Hi SFA, thank you for your insight.
I shoot artwork and exhibitions, so the color and tonal adjustments that I make on set are critical. I need to send my retoucher a set of HDRs from an exhibition. I've created a custom icc profile for the shoot and have made global adjustments correcting for uneven light and color casts.
I would just send the entire session, but depending on the project it can be in the 75GB+ territory. I need to just send the HDRs with the .icc profile and adjustments I made on set.

Thank you again for your very generous thoughts on this, I appreciate your time. I am all set on applying the .icc profile to merged HDRs. It's a complicated process that I finally cracked after about a year of tinkering. I have very beautiful and consistent images throughout the shoot.
My retoucher has no need for the individual RAW files. They just need merged and adjusted HDR files.
For example I have a session with:
- 100+ RAW images bracketed ±1 stop
- 20 merged HDR files, processed and edited with layers + icc profile
How do I get those 20 HDR files to my retoucher along with the icc profile and the edits I've made on set?
I suppose this is maybe a bit unconventional but it seems strange that I can't pack the HDRs as an .eip. That would solve the issue.0 -
SFA,
Thank you again, that did the trick! I moved the HDRs to the selects folder, then copy/pasted the files from the selects folder to the capture folder in a new session. Then zipped the entire session and sent to my retoucher. Worked perfectly.
Much appreciated!0
