Rename a Custom Tool Tab?

I haven't found a way to rename custom tabs. However you CAN name custom tabs when they're created. So if you want to have a name for an existing custom tab, all I can suggest is that you create a new tab, name it as you wish, and then replicate your existing tab into the new one and delete the original. At that point, you might save the Workspace with your new tab.

Renaming custom tabs seems like an obvious thing to do. You might want to "Submit a request" to their developers (top of page) and hope that it makes it into a future release.

I don't know any way in Capture One. I use the Windows version, there is a (cumbersome) way: Provided your workspace was saved, then there is in the OS user profile in the folder Workspaces130 a XML file with the corresponding name which holds the settings. Open the file with an editor, search for the tooltab name and change it. After starting Capture One, load the workspace again and the new tooltab name appears.

As said, not an elegant way and I do not know where the user profile data is located under MAC, maybe a MAC user can provide this info and confirm whether it is also so possible there.

That's a great tip, thanks. It was actually quite quick, despite not being within Capture One; I have Mac OS and it was pretty easy to find based on searching for 'workspaces' in the library folder.
