MAC OS Ventura

I am running CO21 14.4.1 on Ventura on Mac silicon and most of it works. However I can't edit or open files in Photoshop 2023 from CO. I have to open the file in Photoshop from the finder.

Had similar issues in the past. Capture One upgrades seem to lag a long way behind Adobe in supporting current Apple hardware and OS.

I'm was happy chugging along a M1 Mac Mini with Capture One 22 (version 15.2.0.77) and the Ventura update broke CO22. It will not open. Some have suggested to go to Capture 22 Pro at $299 (I have upgraded the license several times). I'm invested in Capture One for Fujifilm since the Express, but if they don't come up with a free fix, I'll be going to Photoshop/Lightroom at $9.99/month.

Federico; if you're already licensed for v15, have you tried downloading the latest version? Or does 15.4.x not exist for your Express version? You might contact Support and ask them what to do.

Federico: if you purchased Express before January, you should have received a notification in April already informing you about the end of the Express product line, but also including an offer to upgrade to 22 Pro for free.

Abbott and Markus, thank you for your support. Capture One is working fine now. I appreciate it.

Sorry for being late on this topic – we should have responded sooner with some sort of explanation.

We do not recommend updating as soon as a new release is available. Not only for compatibility reasons, but for stability reasons as well. Upgrading/updating your OS as soon as it becomes available can be a real workflow breaker.

I recommend keeping an eye on these pages and hitting 'follow'  so that you are always up to date with the system requirements (found in the release notes)

    https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/sections/4413018813329-Capture-One-22-Release-Notes

    https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/sections/7236802618013-Capture-One-23-Release-Notes

It's always good practice to read these before updating/upgrading your OS, buying a new machine, or when considering an upgrade to a newer version of Capture One.
