Ipad Pro Capture One Lost all photos

I signed up to use the Capture One Ipad feature.

My Gear:

- Ipad Pro (2021 256GB) 

- Tether Cable

- A7RIII

While shooting went smoothly, I found that when I was editing the images on the App that the App suddenly crashed. I'd click the App to open it but it'll open then crash without me being able to do anything.

Unfortunately I tried all support suggestions and the last resort was to uninstall and reinstall the app. Upon doing so I lost ALL my photos from that job which has now left my client unimpressed as we're not able to retrieve or reshoot what we captured.

Not sure what Capture One could do in resolving this issue but its a big problem and I won't ever shoot with this app ever again anytime soon.

    Hi Seth,

    you might have luck and find your lost raw images with the Files app,

    look in On My Ipad / Capture One / CaptureOne.cocatalog / Originals / ...

    Or did the uninstall/reinstall clear the folders?


    (I use the tethering but always also in addition have the camera storing on SD card as a backup)
