Export without 'Camera Metadata' deletes IPTC data

I want to export to JPEG without the camera EXIF information. That's easy, I've deselected 'Camera Metadata' but selected others including 'Copyright' and 'All Other Metadata'.

My files are fully captioned.

The result is the original photo date in the IPTC field is replaced by the export date. Obviously (to me anyway) that's wrong. The IPTC date field is not a camera EXIF field and should not be either deleted or overwritten on export.

Am I wrong and or what are my options given I want the correct date to travel with my exported files?
