Should I uninstall Capture One 22 after install Capture One 23 ?

Dear sir
I use Windows 11 platform .
Now I have already installed Capture One 23 and it works well .
But when I closed Capture One 23 for awhile  , I can open old Capture One 22  and can use it .

Should I uninstall Capture One 22 or not ?

  From memory I think C1 does not recommend having two versions of C1
  on the same computer, although that is probably C1 playing it safe support wise.
  Both versions will share anything in the AppData/Local/CaptureOne folder
  so there is a chance for one version to upset the other I guess.

  Thank you , The fact I found is  catalog that updated to C1 23  cannot open in C1 22 .

   

  So only delete C1 22 shortcut is enough

  You won't get any official advice here but I assume most upgraders will fully uninstall v22 via the C1 uninstaller. That's what I did.
  If v23 is stable for you but you want v22 there as a fallback I guess deleting the v22 shortcut will stop you opening v22 accidentally.

  When v23 upgrades a catalog it should create a backup of that catalog
  in the same folder which will still open in v22, ie: .cocatalogdb.backup.
