    Jef Sleeckx, it does look like your catalog has an issue despite the verification saying otherwise. Since a smaller catalog upgrade worked for you, export from your master catalog various smaller catalogs. Then upgrade these smaller catalogs. Create a new empty master catalog in v23 and re-import the converted smaller catalogs. Bit of a detour but should do the trick.
