When to install a new C1 version
Every time I think of installing a new version I read the posts for that version and vow to wait till the first point update to avoid the misery of dealing with the problems appearing in the forum. These posts represent the number users with problems (the numerator), but do not tell us the total number of users (the denominator). It would be helpful to know the incidence of problems by type (e.g., couldn't install, had repeated crashes, wouldn't work with a particular version of MacOS, failed to perform a key function). That kind of transparency would inform us of how to time upgrading according to our risk tolerance.
The data to do this would require users to participate in a satisfaction survey. Our car dealers and service shops do this, retailers do this, healthcare providers do this, why not Capture One?
