How to lock export recipes?
Hello All,
As a photography teacher, I keep being confronted with students accidentally messing up with export recipes set on school computers. From time to time, I find them modified by mistake, creating confusion for the one thinking is exporting JPEG low res and gets a TIFF instead!
Is there a way to lock export recipes in place?
Thanks!

You might try locking the actual files in the ~/Application Support/Capture One/Export Recipes folder. That works for Workspaces (in the Workspaces folder), and I've renamed Export Recipes in their folder (so as to ensure that 'my' order is maintained, as C1 sometimes rearranges things.
If you want to lock the recipes in place, just name them (in the Finder). Then, if C1 rearranges them, just relaunch C1. At least that works for me. I've made names like:
01 TIFF Recipe 1
02 TIFF Recipe 2
O3 JPEG Recipe 1
04 JPEG Recipe 2
And if you want to make sure they can't change the recipe, try locking the file from its Get Info box.
I hope that helps.

The Enterprise version of C1 has a recipe lock feature...

Another possible solution would be to make a copy of the Export recipes folder that Abbott referred to and just copy it back in to the Library after students have been using the app.

Many thanks for these tips! I'll give it a try! ;-)
Hoping that developers will soon add this quick functionality to regular C1 version!
Cheers!
