Recovering from Catalog getting confused

I don't know what happened. Well maybe. Here's what I did:

  1. Imported photos into a subfolder of my 2022 folder, rated them and made some adjustments to 4 of them
  2. Exported the 4
  3. Went into the finder and fixed a typo in the folder name
  4. Returned to Capture One (v21)

At this point, all the files were offline. I did a "Locate" but C1 hung after a minute.

Upon returning to C1, I found a other subfolders were missing photos so I did a Synchronize on 2022. I now have all the files back but all my ratings and edits for the entire year are gone. Clicking Last Imported, the thumbnails show my ratings, edits etc but also say they are offline.

Is there any way to recover from this? TIA
