Custom styles not available

My custom styles are in the correct location. Library/applicationsupport/captureone/styles. When I launch C1 they are not there. If I keep C1 open and drag the styles folder to my desktop and then drag it back, the custom styles show up and work as expected. When I relaunch C1 they will gone again and I have to drag the style folder out and back in to get them to work again. I have tried reinstalling C1 and creating a new user account with no luck. I would like to upgrade to C1 23 but as it has additional styles functionality I'm not risking it until the styles work as expected.
