C1 23 - Dual screen have to click twice to activate sliders and controls
Capture one 23 on Windows
Dual screen setup.
When i use the brush on one screen then attempt to move sliders or controls they will not work initially, and require two clicks or a click to activate the second window and then they will work. I don't recall this in prior versions of C1.

Just went to dual screen on my setup and I'm not seeing that.
Works as normal.
Are you just using a mouse.0 -
@gb With mouse and Wacom have the same issue (video was with mouse). I'll investigate some more. Does not happen on single window workspace, only multiple window workspace across 2 screens.

Windows 10 or 11?
I'm on Win 10.0 -
Win11 21H2

Might be a Win 11 thing then?
What happens if you switch to a single screen workspace
or drag one of your dual windows to the other monitor
so they are both on the same?0 -
After much trial and error, have determined the condition which causes the issue. I have 2 displays, one is at scale 125%, the other 150%. (both are 4k native) In this configuration, C1 exhibits the problem of "first mouse click doesn't grab" with two windows open.
If I change the scaling to match on both monitors (ie both @ 150%), then the "first click grab" issue goes away (works as expected) between C1 windows, no mater where the windows are positioned on either screen.

I set my screens to 150 and 125 respectively but the sliders still work as usual.
Maybe another pointer towards Win 11.0 -
After a reboot, and reset of DPI on both displays, I can now no longer reproduce the original problem.

Fingers crossed then......

Jason I thought I was losing my mind or the 1 year old mouse was defective. I too have the identical issue that the first click does not register when using 2 monitors with different scaling.
Sort of glad to hear I am not the only one with this issue.
Hopefully the solution isn't a $200 upgrade.

@Bill, I don't think I've identified _exactly_ what caused/fixed this. As mentioned above, changing the scaling on the monitors to be the same, did appear to fix it instantly for me. Then after a reboot, I reset back to different scaling (125% + 150%) it was ok in C1.

two restarts later, its back to original issue, only when DPI scaling is different between monitors :( C1 is the only app that exhibits this strange behaviour.
