When I check for updates I ONLY see 15.4.2 or 16.  Where is 15.4.3 hiding?

Are you on Mac or Windows? It was a Mac only release, to enable support of MacOS Ventura. So, if you are on Windows you are not missing out on anything. If you are on a Mac, you can go to your account on the Capture One website and download it from there.

... so you should be able to get it if you log on to your account at the Capture One website.

You missed my point.  Why bother having a check for update box if it doesn't't work.

    I have now

I'm unable to check whether it works or not at the moment, as I am already updated to 16.0.1, but I know that there have been some recent releases where there was a bug affecting the check for updates feature. That may have affected you depending on which version you were on.  I believe that it was corrected. It seems to work again in the latest version - if I remember right it worked for me and showed me 16.0.1.

Also, it is sometimes a day or two after an update is available on the website that the in-app feature shows it - it's been like that for years I think. I don't much use the feature because I generally hear about updates from the forum or Facebook groups before the app would have told me, anyway.

I trust that you have now been able to get the update you wanted.

To my understanding, some companies do not make SW updates available through an update check immediately for everybody. Reasoning behind it is that they do not want to overload their servers with download requests.

Anyway, I'm not sure that CaptureOne v15.4.3 would be offered at all as an update within CaptureOne, because there is a v16.x available.

As I am now on 16, I have no way of checking that. But Stanley L. Green said he was offered 15.4.2 or 16, so presumably it might.
