C23 / 16.0.1.17 / Mac - Sony A7R5 Support not working
Hi Folks,
as the new update should work with the new Sony A7R5 camera, I have discovered issues in the operation today. The camera randomly appears and disappears in Capture One 23 when tethering. Also, file transfer is not working properly. To sum it up, unfortunately, it is not usable yet.
Have you discovered similar issues? With my A7R3 reconnected, everything went smoothly on the same setup.

The A7R5 has been supported since Capture One v16, Christian:


are you actually reporting a fault that has started in v23?

Hi Keith,
I know it´s a bit confusing, but v23 is version 16.xx, v22 is version 15.xx, and so on. The A7R5 has been supported since yesterday for v23 which is version 16.0.1.
I think this is a fault and I will check your link.

Hi everybody. Following up here, Capture One 23 and Sony A7Rv are both up to date with software and firmware and we are still experiencing this issue while tethered. The camera sometimes pops up and works and other times it doesn't. Sony A9II and Sony A7Riv are working perfectly, but I want to use the new beast! Any help here at all? Thank you in advance.

@... Firmware 2.0 has messed up a few things with this camera and the way it interacts with Capture One. We'd greatly appreciate it if you could make a support case and provide us with your log files, so we can try and work on a fix or at least communicate with Sony on what issues users are facing.
