Dear Capture One Support

I'm deciding on an upgrade while I can still get it at a bargain price, I already have a Capture One 20


What is the difference between One-time payment to own your Capture One, or a perpetual license for Capture One Pro 23..? 

I am a little confused about the different payment models.
