Drobo Lightroom catalog issues
The Problem
Importing my Lightroom catalog failed as the path to the images on my Drobo N2 (a networked Drobo) was not the same. I tried to importing images from a CF card to my Drobo-N2 (in a new catalog within Capture One) the images would copy to the Drobo but under the Folders tab within Capture One, files/folders/Images would show as missing after import (even though they where on the drive. I tried to use the re-locate function within Capture One but this did not fix the issues (even though i was able to see and select the right folder).
The Fix
I have disabled Drobo Dashbord from mounting the volumes (the drive where i store my images on the DroboN2) and instead use Mac's Finder and GO / Connect to Server to connect to my Drobo. please see link "How to manually mount Network Shares with Mac or Windows" https://supportportal.drobo.com/retrieve/s3/knowledge/AA/AA-01304.html
