Add the "Adjustment Clipboard" Tool to your palette and check the crop tool there to be included in the copy.

crop is included but it's not applying it correctly. I've contacted support direct on this now.

    Appreciate your response though.

Support have let me know they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix for the next update.

Same issue. it's absolutely wrecked my workflow. how, even time they update, do they have issues like this? Do they not beta test at all? Maybe less new features that nobody used for and getting the software to work flawlessly might be an idea?

I think I figured it out. First tried updating to the latest (16.1.1 at the time) and that didn't immediately work. After that I added the Adjustments Clipboard to my tool tab as mentioned above and started poking around. Within the Adjustments Clipboard tool settings there was a menu option for "Autoselect". If this is set to "Adjusted except Composition" it will NOT copy your crop. By selecting either "Adjusted" or "None", it seems to have fixed the issue and it will carry over the crop.

Hopefully this helps! Not sure about long term, but it was not a clear straightforward solve and was driving me crazy.

    Hey Nate,

Thanks for that. It worked. I did not need to update to 16. Still using 15.3.2.

Why in the world they would remove that function as a default and then hide the fix so effectively is quite a mystery. And "support is aware of the issue and working on a fix"??? Really. Good lord!

I am also having a hard time with the copy apply tool, especially with applying crop adjustment across multiple images. When I first started using software that applied adjustments across multiple images over 15 years ago I had no problems, it worked flawlessly and intuitively. But this feels like a mess. For me this is a core function.

Bjørn Venø - It would help in diagnosing what the problem is if you described what is happening (or not happening). Is it that the crop is not being copied at all to other images, or that it is applied incorrectly?

Even removing the crop is not intuitive, having to google basic functions is ridicules.

I have used photo software for 20 years and I have never felt this is infuriated

Bjørn Venø - I get it that for some reason you are having a problem, but you still haven't said in what way you are "having a hard time with the copy apply tool". If you don't give details of the problem, how can anyone help you solve it?

Ian Wilson thank you for taking the time to respond.  The crop was not being applied correctly.

With some googling I figured out how to remove the crop, but not how to apply the correct crop to another image.

I gave up on using the crop tool in Capture One.

I was working with 2 images shoot on tripod without moving the camera. One image being a clean plate and the other contained the subjects.

You should find that if you crop an image - say Image 01 you can then extend your selection to the rest of the set - say Image 02 to Image 20.

Then click the little double arrow on the crop tool. You will get a dialog box, but if you hold down Shift while you click the double-arrow it will apply it for you without the dialog box. (And the same technique applies to copy any adjustment such as white balance, exposure, etc.)
