Subscription - What happens if you cancel
"If you cancel a subscription that includes Lightroom Classic CC, you will actually be able to continue using most of Lightroom to manage your photos. Only the Develop and Map modules will stop being available when you cancel your subscription, and of course you won’t be able to install future updates."
What happens with Capture One. Does it just stop working? Do you lose all the adjustments? Can you still browse through your photos? Can you continue to export?
Not planning on updating perpetual license to 23. Thinking about switching to subscription plan.

I inadvertently posted this to the Windows side. Apple comes out with a major operating system update each year. There is no guarantee that a C1 perpetual license will work with each new release. So, "perpetual" is really not perpetual.
Right now, I'm holding at 15.2.2.4. Have not upgraded to 15.4.3 because of the toolbar icon size issue. Plan is to upgrade from Monterey to Ventura in February, 2023. If C1 15.2.2.4 doesn't work, I'll try 15.4.3. If that does not work, it's back to Lightroom.
Your advisory about knowing what happens with a cancelled C1 subscription is quite insightful.

It seems that one option that is available if you want out of your C1 subscription is to cancel the subscription, then buy a perpetual license. At the additional cost of that perpetual license, that would at least give you perpetual access to the then current version of C1
Yes John, but assuming that you'd want to cancel your sub and go for a perpetual license in a few years time, nobody knows what the perpetual license price would be and even worse, whether or not a perpetual license offering will still exist. That's the crux with software subscriptions for software which you'd want for longer than only for immediate usage.
