Remote shutter capture
I have an image capture question I'm hoping someone may know the answer to. I want to be able to capture my images using a remote shutter release or the camera itself. When I'm tethered to C1P it will not let me use any function to capture the image, other than on the computer screen with C1P. I just want to save the constant back and forth from the still life set-up to the computer. I have a Canon 5DSR. I have seen someone else do this (via a YouTube clip) and their camera has its live view active whilst tethered and they can press the shutter on the camera to capture rather than on the screen in C1P. My camera screen just displays an icon of a computer and says 'busy' whenever I tried to use any of its controls. How do you override this???

I've also been looking for remote triggering (of my Fuji) when tethered. Not an urgent need but I'd like to avoid possible vibration causes.
Just wondering if you have tried triggering with Capture Pilot while tethered. It's an extra cost and not well reviewed but it sounds as though it's meant for that.

Thanks for your responses! So I have managed to get it working. I have a Yongnuo remote triggering system on my hotshe, as well as a Neewer flash trigger for my strobes. I can fire the camera remotely, as well as from the camera body and the images appear in C1P. What I now can't do is use Live-view so cannot focus/compose using my Mac screen. If I use my canon speedlite as the master/trigger on my camera then Live-view works. Does anyone know why this may be? Is it to do with optical vs. radio? I believe my canon speedlite is optical and the Yongnuo/Neewer triggers/receivers are radio.
Goodness knows! I thought this was all meant to be very simple to use, its turning out to be a tech nightmare and one which is taking up way too much of my time and causing me lots of issues.
