A7RV and "Proxy Creation Failed"

I just set up my new A7RV (upgrading from A7RII) and was ready to take it for a spin on set using tethering. Initially I was using Capture One v21 and getting an error that the camera was unsupported. I downloaded a trial version of 23 and now i'm getting an error saying "Proxy Creation Failed". I'm trying to shoot raw, but i've also attempted shooting JPG and it still comes up with the same error message, revealing a pixelated version of my test image. Any tips or tricks on how I can get this to work properly? I've tried two different tether cables too, so that shouldn't be my issue. AGH!

    I am having the exact same issue with my A7iv. Does any one have a fix for this? tried multiple storage location, cables, setting but no luck.
