Battery performance issue with Capture One

Hello everyone,

I'm running Capture one 21 on a macbook pro M1 with 16GB RAM with the Ventura macos. As I don't have enough space on the internal disk I'm running the entire catalog on an SSD disk connected by USB-C, the problem is that the battery runs out very fast. 

Any suggestions for improving battery performance?

    Make sure the Preview size is not too big (Preferences), this can help reduce processing time when importing:

    Ideally it should be no larger than the screen display, or one size smaller if you have the menu options displayed next to the main browser window.
