Read only images while tethered.
I do product photography. I shoot tethered directly to capture one. I've been noticing that sometimes the image shows up as read only. most of the time the images are ok. but sometimes i get one coming up as read only.. and sometimes it gets worse and does it every other shot. I mostly do multi-views of my products, so it's not like i'm shooting non-stop. Anybody else experiencing this?

hi! It's the same for me. I have asked the Capture One support, but they haven't responded. I have experienced it for the last two years and it's very frustrating, especially when it happens in front of your clients. Today I was shooting - a slow food photography shoot - and it was happening all the time. Sometimes three or four in a row. I had a Nikon d810 when it started and now I shoot on Sony a7r5. The same story, so the camera system is not to blame. I don't understand - it's supposed to be a software for professionals, but it seems like a free app, when it's so buggy. And the support doesn't reply to my emails AT ALL. Nothing! Not even an automated answer. I don't know what to do. I don't want to switch to Lightroom... If you find out how to stop this happening, could you please let us know? Thank you! Oh, by the way, I am on Windows, but it had never happened before 2 years ago. Keep well! E

No, I haven't, unfortunately. Today I am doing another photoshoot with food, so quite low paced. Last time I did a product shoot for 5 days and it happened only once, so maybe they have fixed the bug? I will see today.

Ian, yes, I used the support and wven tried the FB page. Nobody really cared. 🙂 I will see today, if that's still the case. I am on a better Computerworld in the studio, but my laptop is still the same and it seemed to be better lasy time.
