Update -Importing metadata from NEF files

Permanently deleted user

My Cap1 settings are Full Sync with Prefer Embedded XMP over IPTC.

I changed the NX Studio to Save adj. to the original file.

After deleting the former photos in CAP1, I re-imported.  Still not seeing the photographers descriptions in NX Studio in Cap1. Yet. Thank you for the directions, I am still at a loss as to why. 

Are there any ideas before I have to purchase Photo Mechanic?

    What happens if you change the options in NX Studio to save adjustments to a sidecar file?
