Very vague "new loyalty scheme". A subscription model will force many to leave.
Many excellent competitors exist. Adobe would be cheaper overall as they offer an entire suite of software titles. Affinity Photo is excellent - normal simple payment model - and will catch up one day with full capture.
I just want to buy software and own it (with minor upgrades until next version). The licence key activating my older versions for compatibility with previous work ;)
More positively, a perpetual same licence key for life - even when I decide to upgrade - is much simpler than every few years messing with activation codes!
Please keep payment simple. If you want, then you purchase - it not, then you leave until a suitable version later....

Many excellent competitors exist.
And yet by far the most successful "competitor" (wrong word: "industry dominator", more like) is Adobe LightRoom, and it is positively thriving under its subscription model.
Still - don't let facts get in the way of your entitled, self-opinionated whining...

Perhaps the point is that *if perpetual licenses disappear* there are many excellent competitors.
I came to C1 after leaving Adobe LR, which I had been using since version 1.0, when Adobe got rid of perpetual licenses. I hope not to be forced to move again.

Very vague "new loyalty scheme"
- yes they have said there will be one, but we will have to wait until February to find out the details.

if perpetual licenses disappear
- I think they have said that they will continue.

Yes, they said that. Still, until the "new loyalty scheme" is clarified, I think it's better to mark the point.
