Are you using Nikon? If so, remove the memory cards. If your using Sony, it  has a menu item for USB port that must be set to PC.

I'm using a Canon.  I've tried both with and without the card.  I have a feeling there is an issue with my camera.

It may be the cable, I have a tether tools cable w/USB-C connection that no longer works with either NIkon body.

I don't think it is the cords because I just bought new ones to rule out it is not a cord issue.  THank you for your help though Gerald!!

Lindsey Kuhn Nearly every scenario is covered in this article: ://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002381557

If you're still not having any luck, then I recommend creating a new user account on your machine to see if there are any permission issues related to your user account.

Have you also ensured that Capture One has access to all of the necessary areas of your machine to execute tethered shooting?

    Hi Lindsey,

have you tried to connect your Canon via Canon EOS Utility? It's free from Canon and I would give it a try. Maybe you could nail down the issue to camera, cable, Mac, MacOs or C1. Hope so :-)
