Ventura 13.1 Operating System Upgrade

After updating to this operating system, your software stopped working, ie I was using two Fujifilm xt4 and Gfx100s machines and at the moment I cannot transfer images to Caputure. Tethering doesn't work One version 21 build 14.0.0.275
Can you help?

    The Capture One release note say it works with Ventura up to 13.0.1.

    I'm holding off from upgrading to Ventura 13.1 until Capture One say it is supported.

    ADDED NOTE: I should have noticed that this was the Capture One 21 forum, and my comment was about Capture One 23. There's a reasonable probability that Capture One 21 users will encounter problems with MacOS Ventura. Even if some users find it works for them, others may not - so much depends on the individual users exact set-up. It's always worth checking the release notes to see what is and isn't supported before updating one's OS.

    It works with the XT4 but with the Gfx100S it doesn't. I doubt that the camera is faulty.

    Since I update to Ventura 13.1, I´ve a problem to change the top toolbar, every time C1 crashes. Has anyone a solution for this?

    Out of curiosity what versioun of macOS were you all running with Capture One 14.x.x?

    I ask because anyone looking to upgrade to Ventura was likley running Monterey prior to the upgrade and what I'm particularly interest is what veriouson of macOS Monterey version you were all running.

    Reason being is that Capture One release notes for Capture One 21 were update 1+ years ago which only states:

    macOS 10.13, macOS 10.14, macOS 10.15, macOS 11*, macOS 12** 
    ** MacOS 12 (Monterey) is supported for builds up to 12.0.1 starting from Capture One 21 (14.4.1)

    However, as we know macOS 12 got some upgrades and even some crucial security patches after 12.3 and ideally I want to install the latest version of mocOS Monterey 12.6.3

    Ian Wilson BTW your comment "The Capture One release note say it works with Ventura up to 13.0.1." and the reference support link relates to Capture One 23 (16.0.1) release notes and NOT Capture One 21.x which this thead is actually about i.e. 'Capture One 21.x Software for Mac'

    Your comment and other threads found on 'Capture One 21.x Software for Mac' can be misinterperated.

    I have only found one person so far who has said that they have CO 21.x working with Ventura (see below permalink) but on the whole I haven't seen overwelming confirmation that this is indeed the case hence my previous comment about me wanting to run macOS Montery 12.6.3 instead, but unfortunately I haven't had feedback on this either.

    The most updated Capture One release note for Capture One 21, which was more than a year ago, still says: "MacOS 12 (Monterey) is supported for builds up to 12.0.1 starting from Capture One 21 (14.4.1)"  and no further updates relating to macOS Monterey versions, never mind Ventura.

    I am still very sceptical about running Capture One 21 on macOS Ventura and would much rather run the latest version of macOS Monterey instead which I also haven't installed yet.

    Would love to hear from more peeps still running Capture One 21who've had success with the latest version of macOS Monterey and Ventura.

    Ivan ​- apologies, you are right, of course. I didn't pay sufficient attention to which forum the post was in. (I'll add a note to my previous reply.)

    I wouldn't necessarily expect Capture One 21 to be OK with Ventura. The thing with OS versions that are not officially supported is that, depending on their exact set-up, some users may find it's OK, but that doesn't guarantee that others will.

    Ian Wilson - no probs; I suspected you posted this on here without realising it's a Capture One 21.x thread, and thank you for amending you previous post to illiminate any ambiguity.

    I am still non the wiser about being able to run Capture One 21 on the latest (security patched) versions of macOS Monerey release 12.6.3, but I suspect it's likely to be less risky than aiming to run it on Ventura for which I personally will wait until I've upgraded my Capture One version at some point down the road.

    Thanks again for following up to your previous post which may very well help others like myself make up their mind about potential risks associated with unsupported macOS upgrades 😊
