Layout question

I want a layout where the library is on the left and adjustments, etc are on the right.

The only way i see how to do this is open a library in its own separate floating window and just placing it on the left side. It works great in viewer mode, But when I am in the browser mode, the images on the left are covered up..

Am i missing something? Any solutions?

    The floating tools can be placed outside the main window (or even on a second monitor), so you can re-size the main window as you find useful an place the library floating tool right left to it. In case your main window gets too small on occasion (depending on the type of work you'd like to do) you can create several workspace and save them so you can switch between them, switching is not superfast but it works, Of course the devil is in the detail but maybe this helps...

    BeO..... that was it..Worked perfectly resizing the CO screen and sliding the floating window. And it sticks too..Thank you so much! happy holidays!
