Locked System folder

I've installed C1 23 in trial mode (I have purchased it but still editing in 22), I can't access the folder with all my mages - it is locked in C1 23. I can access and edit it in C1 22. I've tried changing properties of the folder to no avail.
I'm on Mac with OS 11.7

    Hi,
    may be there are C1-processes still running.
    I would restart the Mac and open C1-23 first (and nothing before).

    What error-message will come up then?

    Tried your suggestion, there is no error message but the folder is still locked,

    Hi Alan, how do you know that the folder is locked ?

    Great question!! There's a symbol on the folder in the library, which I thought looked like a lock, but per your question I enlarged it and apparently I was mistaken - it's an arrow pointing down - do you have any idea what that means?

    That's a issue with permissions in MacOS and the "Finder", you were right.
    I have no idea how to solve it,  SORRY.
