anybody knows how to get rid of the write protection?

You'd have to tell us more. Where are the files situated? Are they in a location that Capture One has proper permissions for. In Preferences or System Settings if you are on Ventura) Privacy & Security > Files and Folders, does Capture One have the appropriate permissions? Is the drive where they are located read only?
Also can your version of Capture One deal with these Fuji files? Are they from a supported camera? Are you running the Fuji or the Pro version of Capture One?
