ISSUES post activation with Sony version of Capture One express

As of today I have not been able to  get past the lets gets started stage of Capture One express for Sony... this despite loads of advice from  support team .. I have installed uninstalled, updated back date bla bla bla and even tried to use the pro trial  but no luck whatsoever.. anyone else  finding this problem on windows 10?....
