Tethering painfully slow

I'm tethering with a Canon 5d Mk4 on Capture one 23 with a MacBook Pro on OS Ventura.

I shoot Fashion so very quick and high volume. Sometimes the images can have a lack of up to 30 seconds coming through.

I don't remember it always being like this? Why is this? & how do I stop it? 

Please help!
