Filters tool empty for minutes after opening Capture One

Here, the Filters tool is empty after Capture One has been launched, and it currently takes about three minutes before any data shows up.

I assume this has to do with Capture One's general sluggishness when using larger catalogues. Improvements in this area would be very welcome.
