HW acceleration doesn't work in RTX 3060ti

Awhile back, I noticed that the Nvidia driver was causing high processing usages. I googled it and found that a driver update was the root cause. So I rolled back the driver and all is well. You could try doing this on your machine and see if it helps. I have a 3060ti board and I am using driver 516.94 dated 20 Jul 2022.

I just posted in another thread that 517.40 is the last Nv driver that works for me in C1, v20 (using a GTX1660S). Newer drivers cause hardware acceleration to not work. I didn't open a ticket with C1 because of the age of the software and attempts to open a ticket with Nv were not successful (links to open ticket and chat both timeout).

Has anyone out there solved this? And just for the record, which features are GPU accelerated in V20?

I recently installed Nvidia Studio Drive 528.49. I had issues where the previou driver was sucking up CPU usage on my Win 11 machine. I have a RTX 3060 Ti card. But... I am running the latest C1. The HW acceleration seems to work as I can see large amounts of GPU usage under certain scenarios in C1.

Probably not much help to you, but you can try it. Make sure the delete the subdirectory for you version in ImageCore (or delete the whole Imagecore if you only have one version of C1). This will ensure that C1 recompiles what it needs for the graphics driver.

Thanks, Kevin, but I've done that dance with no luck. I'd say this is on Nvidia since it's a safe bet nothing changed in my version of C1. I suppose it could be a Windows issue but the chances of getting any help from MS are less than getting help from Nv—both of which are hovering around zero.
