Restrict Curve Point Movement: Vertical only?

Is there a keyboard shortcut to restrict dragging of a curve point to vertical movement only?

I know you can do this with the arrow keys… It would be great if, when dragging with a mouse, you could hold Shift and have it only move the point up or down.

    It's really too bad this isn't a feature. Seems like such a no-brainer. I've been using the Darkroom app on my phone to edit on the go and it has a five point curve where the points are fixed horizontally and only move vertically. I know it's limiting, but it's actually a really fast way to dial something in...

    With the Windows version holding down the Alt key does
    somewhat restrict the movement to one axis, as well as slowing movement down.
    Is it the same with the Option key on the Mac?

    Ahhhh. Interesting. On mac, it doesn’t seem to have that feature…
