If i buy/upgrade to the latest version (23) from v20, can i install and use V22?

My laptop won't run the latest osx so the newest version it will run is 22.

    I'd say no.

    I upgraded from v20 to v22 and wasn't able to use v21. 

    CaptureOne is very money-hungry and they generally don't give you anything for free - not even previous versions when you already paid for the most recent one.

    Maybe you should contact the support team and perhaps they can give you v22 for the price of a full version.

    That's their new fetish: squeezing clients until they're dry.

    That is sad to hear. I guess i won't be upgrading or getting a subscription then. (Even if the upgrade window has closed by now.)

    Also Lightroom has added support for my camera this week (finally after more than a year of dragging their feet). Not that i can run the latest Lightroom on my laptop either, but i'm already paying for that so when i upgrade the laptop i have that ready.

    Yeah a lot of people are switching to other programs, not only due to the way CaptureOne forces subscriptions, but also because they really suck at delivering new updates and tools - and because they refuse to listen to user requests and feedback.
