Slide show will not advance when referenced images are off line

Previously, there was a problem with slides not automatically advancing that was fixed in version 16.0.2. However, the slides will not advance when the referenced images are off line. 

Note, the system on which I observed this was a late 2018 Intel MacBook Pro.
