How good is C1 at vertical panaramas creation?

I am just starting a project where I need to make a long image that go down a webpage. I was curious how good Capture One is at this? I know it has been added quite recently. I had a little time to test the feature with my DSLR and found that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't as well. It is possible that there wasn't enough overlap between the two shots I took I know the images need something like 40% overlap.

Does someone have examples of vertical panoramas that they are happy with? I would have tested out the feature more but my phone camera doesn't shoot raw and that is the one I usually have with me (such as right now) so my experience is limited to a few minutes of test shots on my DSLR. Does Affinity 2 do the job well? The last time I did panoramas was with old versions of Photoshop and Lightroom which no longer run on my computer (and I don't like Lightroom.)
