managing importing to two catlogs

I have two catalogs--one for personal work and one for professional. When importing, whichever import folder I used the last time I had the application open is automatically set as the import folder, necessitating resetting if I'm using a different catalog. Is there a way to set the same import folder for a given catalog each time that catalog is opened?
