Picture Goes Away When Healing is Selected

I'm really new at this. I trued to heal some artifacts on a negative turned to a positive. Created a Heal Layer, but when I click on the artifact the picture goes away leaving a circle with an arrow, but no picture.

    There may be an issue with Hardware Acceleration; Try turning that off in CaptureOne Settings panel in the General tab.

    If it's not that then ensure that you are not working on an empty layer. Perhaps try using the tool on an image that has not been converted from a negative to make sure the tool is working correctly.

    Also make sure that Display Greyscale Mask is not selected, this can make the image disappear sometimes… I don't know why.
